Production and Protein Increase From Plant Guard
This replicated trial was conducted to evaluate the impact of Plant Guard on pasture growth and soil health. Additionally, a product with a similar composition to Advance Amino was included in the trial to assess its combined effects on pasture performance.
The results demonstrated outstanding improvements in biomass, quality, and overall pasture yield, indicating that Plant Guard significantly enhances forage production. These improvements suggest that farmers could achieve higher feed availability and better nutritional value for livestock, leading to increased efficiency in pasture-based farming systems.
Beyond the improvements in pasture yield, significant benefits to soil health were also observed. The application of Plant Guard contributed to enhanced soil structure, increased organic matter, and improved nutrient availability, which are crucial factors for sustainable long-term pasture management. These findings suggest that integrating Plant Guard into pasture maintenance programs can boost productivity while promoting healthier, more resilient soil ecosystems.
With these promising results, future trials will explore optimal application rates and strategies to maximise Plant Guard’s benefits further. This research highlights the potential for more sustainable and profitable pasture management using innovative fertiliser solutions. Trial conducted by: CEPA/TERRA FRUIT CHILE.
