Products Used: Energize Seed Treatment, Promote & Trace and other targeted Custom Blend nutrients
Location/Area: Cowra, NSW
Crop Type/ Livestock: Cereals, canola, and pastures plus sheep and cattle
Size: 1100
Benefits/Improvements since using Switch Ag product(s):
We have seen a noticeable increase in root development and plant health which has led to reduced chemical applications and consistent yields.
Any other comments:
We like the concept of targeted nutrient applications. Testing and measurement has allowed specific applications of nutrients and trace minerals that we know are low in our cropping systems.

Products Used: Promote, Energize, Amino, Plant Guard.
Location/Area: Wagga Wagga, NSW
Crop Type/ Livestock: Beef Cattle and Irrigated Pasture
Size: 325 Hectares
Benefits/Improvements since using Switch Ag product(s):
Easy to use in liquid form, this solution meets all my needs by targeting trace element deficiencies, boosting pasture production, and offering added benefits to cattle grazing these nutritious pastures. Unlike conventional fertilisers, it has no residual side effects and is both cheaper and more effective.
Switch Ag are a great team of people to deal with.

Products Used: Energize Seed Treatment, Crop Starter, Plant Guard, Energize, Trace.
Location/Area: Yeoval / Cumnock Central West, NSW
Crop Type/ Livestock: Wheat, Barley, Oats and 3,500 Merino Ewes on 500 Hectares
Size: 1,620 Hectares
Benefits/Improvements since using Switch Ag product(s):
In 2024, we used Energize Seed Treatment at 6L per tonne of seed at planting; in early September, we foliar applied 5L/HA Crop Starter, 0.5L/HA Plant Guard, 5L/HA Energize, and 3L Trace. This program has left us with a crop that, after a lot of grazing, looks like it will yield over 4T/HA, and this system should be something that all farmers must look at if chemical fertiliser costs are concerning for your business.

Products Used: Kelp, Amino, ZIMBA, Promote, Energize & Plant Guard.
Location/Area: Agnes Banks, NSW
Crop Type/ Livestock: Cos & Iceberg Lettuce, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Leek, Zucchini, Kale, Spinach & Sweet Corn
Size: 30 Hectares
Benefits/Improvements since using Switch Ag product(s):
In a nutshell it’s the overall uniformity of our crops which please us the most. The Switch Ag program has made it easier and faster when harvesting, as the team leave a greater amount of outside wrapper leaves behind, which mean cleaner heads are picked for market.

Products Used: Envirocal
Location/Area: South Australia
Crop Type/ Livestock: Apple and Cherry
Benefits/Improvements since using Switch Ag product(s):
I have researched this product for some time now. Results from farmers using the Envirocal showed very good performance. My orchards are high in magnesium and lately a bit of increase in sodium— 3 years of low rain fall- eg normally 1000mm lately 550 to 650 mm. Lime and gypsum are ok but not making inroads on the magnesium. It’s hard to comprehend using such low rates of Envirocal a hectare, but consider that most limes only have 5 kg of soluble calcium per ton. I ground sprayed the Envirocal out in September at 2 kg/ ha. Then another kg in November Results are always subjective but my apple crop had the heaviest load of the biggest fruit that we had grown for 10 years. Fruit quality was very good- flavour, firmness and keeping time. I’m keen to apply more Envirocal. Soil testing will be interesting to see C:Mg levels I’m happy to endorse Envirocal and encourage you to try it for yourself.

Products Used: Envirocal
Location/Area: Wee Waa NSW
Crop Type/ Livestock: Potato & Cotton
Benefits/Improvements since using Switch Ag product(s):
Using Switch Ag’s EnviroCal at planting with potato seed and as a surface application has delivered fast, visible improvements in soil condition and overall crop performance. We have seen reduced surface crusting, improved water infiltration and less compaction. The soluble, easy-to-apply formulation fits seamlessly into our potato fertiliser program, improving soil structure, calcium availability, crop establishment and growth. Harvest conditions have also improved, with fewer dirt clods returning to the grading shed. We’ve also observed better cotton seed emergence on our red soils, reflecting improved soil structure across the system.
